Giving our Hearts Wings

Hi everyone! I am so glad each of you are with me, in this most amazing project.

Over the next 6 months we will collectively and introspectively practice the power of healing art. Thank you for joining me!

I put out a call on Facebook looking for a couple of artists for this project, and within one hour I had more artists than I could allow. I sat back in amazement; it was all falling into place

Over the next 6 months you will be seeing HEART art, created by 5 amazing artists!

The inspiration for this Project, 10 years ago, tragedy wrapped itself around my heart. My little boy, Andrew, died in my arms on the 22nd of October 2001.

Art helped me through a difficult time, healing happening in brush strokes and the movement of clay and cloth.

The other artists involved may choose to share their stories as we go along, and this project will grow and evolve. I really don't know whats going to happen, but I am very excited!

But what I do know is that, collectively, our heart art has the capacity to touch and move the world.

Here's how it will work:

Each month Els, Anita, Cat, and Meran will :

A. Create TWO stylized and/or anatomical hearts for me, the founder of "The Balanced Heart Project."

B. Size range 1 inch - 4inches The two can be any combination of sizes or each can be the same size.
C. Medium: ANY - paint, paper, clay, textiles, glass, wood, metal, or anything else these wise and talented women can think of!

D. Mail by the 22nd of each Month to me (May through October)

Each Month ANg will:

A. Create TWO stylized and/or anatomical hearts for each healing artist (Els, Anita, Cat and Meran)

B. Size range 1inch - 4inches

C. Medium - ANY

D: Mail by the 22nd of each Month (May-October)

Lastly, YOU may just find you're inspired, touched, and moved by our soul-sharing, and perhaps you will decide to share some of your heart art with us

Art on my sistahs!
